AESEDA News :: AESEDA Welcomes New Partner Institution

In October, Michael Adewumi, Director of Penn State AESEDA, traveled to Ede, Nigeria to participate in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Polytechnic of Ede and Penn State. The MOU marks an official collaboration between the two institutions.

Located in the Osun State of Nigeria, the Federal Polytechnic of Ede trains students in the areas of Applied Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences and Business. Students earn diplomas equivalent to an associate degree level in the United States. AESEDA faculty will be collaborating with colleagues at the Federal Polytechnic on strategies to enhance the school's curricular offerings in mining engineering and practical technology.

More than 100 Nigerian dignitaries attended the signing ceremony which received widespread coverage in the Nigerian media.
